Stefano Pedrini is an Italian Artist who studied painting at the Fine Art Academy in Urbino in Italy and then acquired a diploma in Visual Arts at IED Milan. Stefano Lived for many years in Berlin before relocating to Australia. Whilst in Berlin Stefano shared a Studio and worked as an assistant for Patrick Tuttofuoco, Riccardo Previdi and Alberto Caffarelli (Alterazioni Video).
Stefano’s research covers a variety of media but primarily concentrates on Painting. The paintings of Stefano Pedrini are based upon his own experiences. His paintings and drawings are dense accumulations of signs, almost graphic depictions of elements that often symbolise nature; palms, flowers, and bats from which he creates dense ornamental structures.
