Calling the Northern Rivers creative community! @artsnr is hosting an end of year gathering on Thursday, 7th December.

Come along for an end of year celebration and get together for our creative community.

With the end of the year fast approaching, it's a nice opportunity to celebrate 2023 with a drink and festive get-together.

All creatives from the Northern Rivers are invited for an end of year get together at the Lismore City Bowls Club on Thursday 7 December from 5-7pm.

Complimentary drink on arrival, and performance by local spoken word poet @sarahlockpoetry – hope to see you there!

Charlie Evans is an interdisciplinary artist who works predominantly in the field of Visual and Performing Arts.

Charlie’s paintings combine her sinuous style of movement and otherworldly illustrations into one body of work. Drawing inspiration from the body and its natural surroundings, Charlie abstracts the world around her and transmits her playful perception of it through use of vibrant colour and organic shapes.

Femininity, celebration and friendship are core themes which you can see throughout each piece, inviting the viewer to reflect on their connection with self, other and beyond.

@saramariadarling presents her body of work White Noise, a solo show filled with dreamy, large-scale oil paintings.

“This body of work is very much a journal and keepsake of a place where words were unreachable and where making became a cathartic response to my own surroundings and physical existence. Working at home amongst the equal chaos and quietness of new life inescapably made its way into these paintings. As I watched my new baby meet the world I thought about my own early memories and the colours within them.” @saramariadarling
