Sarah is a slam poet, spoken word artist, mentor & educator of Jamaican / Polish descent. Born in London, she and her family have called the Northern Rivers home for over decade.
She currently holds the titles of Byron Bay Poetry Slam Champion & NSW Poetry Slam Champion.
Her work centres on themes of identity, oppression, freedom and philosophy. She takes pleasure in writing about topics seldom discussed in polite society. Combining digestible turn of phrase with more challenging topics, Sarah makes interesting and approachable that which is generally considered mundane or difficult.
Sarah offers a range of entertaining services designed to showcase the power of words while sparking intrigue & enquiry in audiences.
Her first book of poems is scheduled for release in 2023.
