Byron Shire
Pineapple Lazer is an art, acid, alien, synth punk band from Byron Bay, Australia know for their tripped out, quirky, music videos and neon, electric, high – energy live shows. Formed in late 2017, they have played alongside Henge, Thunder Fox, Private Function, Being Jane Lane, Drop Legs and were one of the 10 bands hand selected to represent the Howl and Moan stage at Byron Bay Falls Festival 2018/2019.
Their influences include Pixies, Rage Against the Machine, Beastie Boys, PUSA, alchemising rave, synth, rap and dynamic vocal styles into a surprising blend of mutant, futuristic, fun.
The band has also just released their first short film entitled ‘Awoko’ shot in Tokyo, Japan, which is currently doing the international short film circuit.
