Trade Arts

Trade Arts is a design and fabrication studio based in Mullumbimby, NSW, specialising in turning ambitious ideas into physical reality.

The majority of Trade Arts’ work supports large-scale studio feature films, including Hollywood productions, alongside select projects for museums, exhibitions, live events, and brand activations. The studio operates at the intersection of creative concept, engineering, and fabrication, delivering high-end physical builds for productions with exacting technical and aesthetic requirements.

Combining advanced digital design with hands-on making, Trade Arts produces hero props, large-format 3D prints, CNC-machined components, sculptural installations, and fully finished scenic elements. Projects often move from early concept and prototyping through to fabrication, finishing, and on-set or on-site delivery.

Led by founder Bryce Noakes, Trade Arts works closely with production designers, art departments, set decorators, curators, and creative agencies. The studio is trusted on productions where precision, discretion, and tight deadlines are critical, and where ideas need to be translated into durable, production-ready outcomes.
