Mr Rhodes

Blake Rhodes, performing as MR RHODES, is a Bundjalung artist, producer and songwriter from Lismore, NSW, whose work moves between hip-hop, soul, electronic and alternative music. A self-managed artist with more than three million streams on “Wandering By,” Rhodes has built a career grounded in independent practice, collaboration and powerful live performance.

His career has included appearances at BIGSOUND and SXSW Sydney, alongside supports for artists including Black Star, ILLY, Horrorshow and Winston Surfshirt. He was named a Ticketmaster Breakthrough Artist in 2024 and has been featured on the cover of Apple Music’s FIRST playlist, with his music receiving support across triple j, Double J and community radio.

In 2026, MR RHODES released the REFRACT EP through Lost Trolley Records, continuing an evolving body of work exploring identity, resilience and connection. Beyond his own music, Rhodes works as a producer, artist manager and First Nations Music Program Coordinator at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium, supporting the development of emerging artists and building sustainable pathways for First Nations music in the Northern Rivers.
