Byron Shire
Marika Bryant is a contemporary artist living in the Byron Hinterland. Completing her Bachelor of Visual Arts at Southern Cross University, embracing a semester at Pratt College New York, Marika has won several art prizes and been involved with many group exhibitions over the years.
Currently convening local group shows – Art 4 Art’s Sake – Marika brings a variety of regional art to the table and opportunity for exhibition for established and up-and-coming artists, sharing the joy of creativity. Marika’s abstract expressionistic works reflect where she has been and where she would like to take others: art as a communicator.
