Lana is a dedicated artist and teacher who places curiosity, education and the environment at the forefront of her art and teachings. She is conscious in her creations and has a genuine love and passion for inspiring creativity and sustainability in others, which shines through in all that she does.
Lana Scoville is multi-disciplinary artist who works mainly with outdoor sculpture, textile/ fibre art, natural dyeing and drawing. Her work today with Loominary_space concentrates on bespoke large scale and highly textual, natural dyed wall art that is memorable, unique, and meticulously crafted, using predominately fallen and collected driftwood, food scraps and organic cotton.
Her work with Within_Space, a large-scale installation art group, bound together by a love for nature and shared spaces was founded by Lana Scoville during her studies of Fine Art at RMIT. Designed and built by a dedicated team of multi-disciplinary artists, Within_Space transforms spaces into unique architectural monuments that linger in the hearts and minds of all who experience their creations. With an intrinsic vision to bring value to the lives of others through art, their intricate stage design and installations have featured at some of Australia’s largest events including, Swell Sculpture and Art Festival, Strawberry Fields, Splendour in the Grass, Rainbow Serpent, and beyond.
