Create NSW is calling for applications from NSW individual artists, arts and cultural workers, and organisations for Round Two of Create NSW’s 2020/2021 Arts and Cultural Funding Program, for Annual Organisation, Project and Creative Koori Project categories.

Individuals

Small Project Grants (Quick Response) support the creation, development and presentation of new work and professional development opportunities for NSW-based professional artists and arts and cultural workers. This quick response grant offers grants from $500 to $5,000 towards projects. Go to Small Project Grants (Quick Response)

NSW Musical Theatre Fellowship with Hayes Theatre Co – this fellowship will support a composer, writer and/or creative team of devisors to research and develop a new work of musical theatre, with the support of Hayes Theatre Co. and the $25,000 Fellowship funding. Conductor: NSW Orchestral Conducting Fellowship with Sydney Youth Orchestras – this fellowship will support an to support the emerging and early career professional practice of an orchestral conductor with $20,000 Fellowship funding and delivered in partnership with Sydney Youth Orchestras. NSW Aboriginal Creative Fellowship with the State Library of NSW – this fellowship will provide an opportunity for an artist, knowledge holder or creative practitioner to undertake creative research that will work towards a presentation outcome at the State Library of NSW. Worth $30,000 the successful applicant will engage with the State Library of NSW’s Indigenous collection. Go to NSW Aboriginal Creative Fellowship

NSW Aboriginal Curator Placement Fellowship with the Art Gallery of NSW – these fellowships will provide an opportunity for two early career visual arts curators to work closely with the AGNSW to deliver two key curatorial and regional projects. Project funding supports innovation, vibrancy and creativity within the NSW arts and cultural sector. Funding is available up to $60,000 towards a range of arts and cultural activities such as new project development and/or presentation, research, professional development, community and audience engagements. Go to Individual Funding

Creative Koori Project funding aims to build support for a strong, resilient and exciting Aboriginal arts and cultural sector for NSW. Funding is available up to $60,000 towards arts and cultural activities for NSW Aboriginal artists and arts and cultural workers. Go to Creative Koori Projects

Organisations

Local Government Authority Arts & Cultural Funding supports Local Government arts and cultural activities that deliver great arts and cultural outcomes for audiences, employs artists and arts and cultural workers to produce new work and partner with others to create unique experiences, events and activities. Regional Local Government Authorities: Regional Cultural Fund (RCF) Digitisation Round aims to maximise the reach of funds by embedding digitisation resources and expertise in regional arts and cultural organisations through enhanced partnership networks and showcase regional collections by complete the collections and stories website. Annual Organisation funding is provided on an annual basis to support arts and cultural organisations (including service organisations) to deliver multiple arts and cultural activities to diverse audiences throughout a single calendar or financial year. Go to Organisation Funding
