Grace Fayrer was born in the South East of England in 1992 and immigrated to Australia in 2014. She is now based on Bundjalung Country (Northern NSW). Her practice is concerned with the interplay between short looped digital projection and sculptural structures, exploring the physical and conceptual boundaries of frame and form.
Fayrer was the recipient of the Tweed Regional Gallery BSA Graduate Award 2022 and recently completed two years of study at the Byron School of Art, Mullumbimby in 2022. She was selected as a finalist for the inaugural Wollumbin Art Award at Tweed Regional Gallery in 2022. In 2011 Fayrer was awarded an Academic Scholarship to study a BA in Fine Art Mixed Media at the University of Westminster, London, completing an Honours Degree in 2014. Fayrer exhibits nationally and internationally.
