Grace Fayrer was born in southeast England and is now based in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, Australia. Her work uses a poetic lens to explore themes of nostalgia, perception, and the threshold between the self and the external world. Her practice engages with moving image, photography, sculpture, and installation.
Fayrer holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Mixed Media from the University of Westminster, London, and recently completed two years of study at the Byron School of Art. In 2022, she was awarded the Tweed Regional Gallery BSA Graduate Award and was selected as a finalist in the Wollumbin Art Award. In 2023, she received the Create NSW Small Projects Grant, followed by the C.A.S.E. Mentorship Grant in 2024.
