Mackinnon Walker

Mackinnon Walker is an independent Filmmaker, Editor and Photographer originally from the Northern Rivers of NSW. Mackinnon has worked in the Australian media industry for the past 6 years collaborating with clients across arts, entertainment, fashion, events and environmental conservation on national campaigns. During his time working in the fast-paced Sydney film landscape, Mackinnon was able to gain a high calibre of clients and skills, which led him to direct, film and edit campaigns, and is where he began entering his independent work into short film festivals.

Mackinnon has now returned home to the Northern Rivers to follow his passion collaborating with the local community to create independent films and celebrate the region’s thriving surf culture.
