Meg’s work is a clear reflection of her close connection with Nature… of being at home in the natural world. Join her on her wanderings through glorious woodlands and forests, rugged cliffs and secluded coves…. precious places and creatures she calls “The matrix of Life we call Planet Earth”. Be enchanted by her portrayal of the Beings of Nature… the seen and the unseen… as she takes us beyond the obvious perception, capturing a certain light or mood. Meg’s dearest hope is to touch our hearts, to share the joy and peace to be found when we realise our kinship with Nature… and if it’s quirky, so much the better!
Meg was inspired by several generations of her family artists and nature lovers, going on to study at art college. She has been honored with several awards and has work in private collections in the UK, Brittany. USA and Australia. Meg now mostly works in oils, pastels or drawing with various mediums and occasionally revisits sculpture and casting… often inspired to dabble in writing.
