Born in Melbourne, Sam graduated in Fine Art from the National Gallery School (Victoria). He ran his own design studio for over 30 years and taught graphic design, drawing and printmaking at the Queensland University of Technology and TAFE in Brisbane and Melbourne. His work is displayed in the Queensland University Library, and in private collections both internationally and within Australia.
He is now focussed on printmaking in his Studio in Mullumbimby. He is especially interested in Mokulito and traditional stone lithography as well as wood block printing in Japanese and European styles. He specialises in Limited Edition prints which are available from his studio.
