After moving to the Northern Rivers in 2006 Peter reconnected with his passion of photography, that was driven by the many natural and urban landscapes throughout the region.

Producing and managing events, theatre productions and exhibitions most of his professional career, COVID-19 gave the opportunity to develop his photography professional service in product photography, as well as singles, family and group portraits. Using many of the great geographical locations the natural light photography sessions are fun and a bit of an adventure that produce authentic images for people to cherish for years to come.

Covid has also provided the opportunity to pursue creative projects, the Fire Ground series was born out of hazard reduction burning on his property through the long dry period of 2018/19.  This is an ongoing project that captures those moments that last for just a fraction of a second in time but reveals an environment changing in surreal and abstract images.  Some of the 2021 fire ground images are included below.

Peter has had images published in both tourist and life style magazines.

The image “Just Tears” (see below) was included in the 2020 Vision book published by the Head on Foundation.  Just Tears was also selected as a semi finalist in the Head On Festival to be staged or not staged in Sydney 2021.

The image “Nuts for for China” received a Commendation in the 2021 Mono Awards
