Nathan Oldfield is a husband / father / surfer / photographer / filmmaker/ sea gazer from the North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.
Nathan has been making films for over fifteen years. Past awards include Best Feature Film (San Diego Surf Film Festival x 2, Berlin Surf Film Festival), Best Cinematography (Florida Surf Film Festival, Berlin Surf Film Festival, Carolina Surf Film Festival), Best Australian Film (Sydney Surf Film Festival), Best Short Film (Sydney Surf Film Festival), Best Documentary (Cologne Surf Film Festival), Best Editing (International Surf Film Festival Anglet), Best Soundtrack (Florida Surf Film Festival, Portuguese Surf Film Festival), Best Heart & Soul (Cape Town Surf Film Festival), Spirit of the Festival (London Surf Film Festival) and Special Honor For Most Heart (Xpedition Film Festival Colorado).
His photographs are regularly published in international surfing magazines and he was recently included in Surfing World Magazine’s ‘Fifty Most Intriguing People In Surfing.’
