Kate Holmes

Kate Holmes is an award winning freelance photographer from Bangalow, Australia. With a successful career spanning dance and the performing arts, returning to the Northern Rivers offered her the opportunity to foster and refine her life long love of photography. Having now run a full time photography business for several years, with work published internationally and several exhibitions up her sleeve, Kate specialises in a diverse range of photographic genres, ranging from stills for film, documentary, dance and theatre, fine art portraiture, food, fashion and editorial photography as well as architecture and weddings.

Every image by Australia-based photographer Kate Holmes has the cinematic quality of a film still. Flipping through a gallery of her work is like being introduced to a cast of dynamic characters – captured through her gift for stepping back and watching the story unfold before her lens.
