Jasmine O’Shea was born in Killarney, a beautiful tourist town in the South West of Ireland, surrounded by mountains and lakes. Jasmine has been painting since she was a little child when she was given her first Watercolour set. Loving nature she began with Watercolour Botanical paintings.
She went on to receive a diploma at Limerick College of Art and Design, Limerick, Ireland.
Next she moved to Cornwall, UK staying 10 years. There she studied a Cert in Horticulture following her keen interest in the natural environment especially plants. Also, loving the coastal life of Cornwall, Jasmine returned to art college and gained a Bachelors in Sportswear Design at University College Falmouth, Cornwall, UK. For her final collection she designed and created swimwear and wetsuits.
Jasmine has exhibited and sold her paintings throughout Cornwall, mainly in the creative town of St.Ives and with the Candid Arts Gallery in London.
She has been living in Australia since 2013. While living on the Gold Coast she was a member of the Royal Queensland Art Society.
