“By Hammer and Hand all arts do stand” – Sixteenth Century Blacksmiths’ Guild Motto.
Hammer and Hand Jewellery and Metal Collective is a jewellery studio, workshop and gallery established in 1995 in Hobart, and in 2008 in the Arts and Industry Estate, Byron Bay. The focus is mainly on handmade jewellery however there is also a great range of sculptural pieces, utensils, watercolour paintings and hand-painted cards.
Customers can meet a different member of the collective each day of the week and browse work by all the members while watching the artists at work. Everything in the gallery is carefully hand made – no mass producing, no off-shore finishing.
Classes are also available – see our Facebook page for further information, or contact us via Facebook messenger.
