Alana is an emerging abstract expressionist artist and creative based in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia. As a self taught artist, her practice has evolved from her many years of working within the world of graphic and textile design, inspired by her father’s career as a plasterer.
The artist layers mediums of clay plaster, earth pigments, sand and acrylics to create an earthy, textural and natural feeling to practice. Her very first body of work, NATURAL HABITAT, successfully exhibited at Newrybar Merchants from March – June 2021.
Most recently exploring Canvas & Acrylic Mediums 2023 – Latest canvas series ‘Into The Unknown’ released Oct 2023.
