A joint exhibition between Clarence Valley artists Stuart Murphy and Grace Thorley, ‘Fresh’ features a combination of photography and water colour paintings. Thought provoking and inspirational, this exhibition will be open for a limited time at ‘The Old Kirk’ from 5th – 30th January, entry via the Yamba Museum.

All Stu’s images are aerial photographs of wetlands and estuaries on the NSW north and mid-north coast captured with the use of a drone. “Wetlands have a great ability to moderate extremes in weather as they can capture and hold so much water during wet times and allow it to be slowly released to rivers. The patterns, colours and textures are so variable from season to season and with changing light conditions.”

Grace Thorley’s works are drawn free hand and painted with watercolour paint. In the ‘Fresh’ exhibition all of Grace’s works are a series of bright, rainbow coloured animals.
