Rene Bolten

Rene’ Bolten was born 1954 in The Hague, Netherlands. He studied at the Amsterdam Academy for Visual Art Education. René has lived and worked as an artist and much loved art teacher in the Northern Rivers region, NSW, for more than 30 years. He has exhibited nationally and internationally in numerous solo and group exhibitions and was awarded the Northern Rivers Portrait Prize 2013.

Rene’s preferred genres are still life and portraiture, he creates artworks in his studio in Georgica, Northern Rivers region NSW.
