They’ve explored a variety of mediums over the years but gravitate towards painting, collage and have recently explored working with 3D and sculpture. They especially enjoy exploring things in miniature with a fascination for collecting small things.
They are continuing to explore various concepts to build a body of work for a duo exhibition in 2027.
Tamara obtained a Bachelor of Visual Arts and a Post Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education from Southern Cross University in 2018 and 2019 respectfully. Whilst there they developed an understanding of professional practice and wishes to continue expanding upon that in the future.
They have previously exhibited work with the Serpentine Community Gallery in Lismore and are currently volunteering with the organisation. Tamara became a volunteer to work within their local art community and connect with fellow artists and creatives in the Northern Rivers. They believe in the importance of community particularly in a rural setting as well as creating an accessible arts community for all with aims to develop further accessibility for artists with disabilities in the Northern Rivers.
