Peter is a Kingscliff-based artist whose work is inspired by his love of surfing and the natural beauty of Australia’s white sandy beaches. His passion lies in portraying real-world subjects, and by balancing detail with abstraction, he invites viewers to interpret and connect with his art in their own way.
Primarily working in watercolour, Peter also incorporates gouache, ink, oil pastel, and collage to create dynamic mixed-media pieces. His work has been recognized with a “Highly Commended” award at the Ocean Shores Art Expo (OSAE) in 2021, and he was recently a finalist in the “Ink Art Gin” competition at Husk Distillery.
Peter has exhibited in both solo and group shows, including at Stokers Siding Art Gallery, Ocean Shores Art Expo, and M-Arts. He is currently represented by the Sheoak Shack Gallery Café at Fingal Head.
