Lily Hatten is a photographic artist and mother living on Bundjalung country near Mullumbimby, NSW.
Lily Hatten’s practice focuses on the ephemeral, formative years within the mother-child dyad, documenting the sacred and the mundane. Her work has been exhibited locally and internationally, and in 2021 she was the portrait winner of the Australian Photography awards. She is also known for her collaboration with other photographers in the documentary-fine art space, appearing on both sides of the camera.
Lily is available for family portraits, motherhood sessions, births, weddings, elopements, rituals, death and funerals, editorial and still documentary work and other commissions. Her style is candid and timeless.
Selected work is also available as digital editions, or NFTs.
