Amber writes long-form journalistic style pieces that explore humans, art, design, entrepreneurship, philosophy and social justice. She relishes in any opportunity to hook articles with a humorous edge.
Amber‘s also a copywriter, crafting words for creative agencies such as Sustainable Valley, 30acres and Popped Creative.
She was recently featured in Paradiso (p26) for her piece titled ‘The art of play’ and writes as a part-time journalist for her local newspaper, The Northern Star.
Amber loves being trusted to communicate BIG ideas with few words; to tell stories, construct narratives and connect with humans over interviews. Her work ranges from feature articles about founders tackling entrepreneurship, women and athletes consuming medicinal cannabis for wellbeing. And a chef starting his career after a fight with his grandma over dry chicken.
Writing is her passion and the discipline she has chosen to help people (including herself) and brands share their stories.
Amber hopes to be writing long into her 80’s. That gives her 53 years to get good.
