Katie pink is an emerging artist born in 1979 in Aotearoa, New Zealand, moved to Australia in 2005, now lives on Bundjalung Country, Northen New South Wales.
Katie completed the three-year course at Byron School of Art in 2024 also completed there Alumni program 2025.
Katie was the winner of the Northern Rivers Community Gallery Graduation Prize of a solo show in 2025 the exhibition was held in October 2025 ‘ Bubblegum Bruises’ was a bold tender body of work was driven by a practice of intuition and impulse. Katie Pink’s artworks create a universe where trauma ia softened, colour is a form of resistance, where play becomes a tool to survival.

Katie Pink is a multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture,installation,painting and ceramics.Her incorporates industrial materials such as sparyfoam, sparypaint, chains exploring chance and material behaviour as foam is poured into jellybags inculding,chains are transformed,experimentation and anticipation are central to her work. Alongside this, Pink creates ceramic works using hand built and coiling techniques, consistently exploring the colour pink, her paintings are built though layers polyurethane, sanded back to reveal pink pigments, then cut up and reshaped with pink perspex, nuts and bolts. most paintings framed with pink perspex and nuts and bolts. Sculptural works sit on custom pink perspex ,gold milk-crate plinths.
